About the Role
The Outlet Cashier is responsible for ensuring accurate financial transactions within the hotel's restaurant operations. The role requires careful handling of cash, credit and debit card payments, gift vouchers, POS transactions, and restaurant sales records.
The cashier will also work closely with floor staff and management to ensure open checks are closed correctly and daily revenue calculations are completed accurately.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure checks are closed correctly and payments match debit, credit, and cash transactions.
Maintain an accurate cash float and balanced cash drawer.
Prepare waiter reports and calculate individual floor staff sales.
Process returns and special transactions through the POS system.

Keep the register station properly stocked.
Report POS system issues to management.
Process cash, credit card, debit card, and gift voucher payments.
Ensure waiters close open checks before daily reports are printed.

Complete end-of-service, end-of-shift, and end-of-day revenue calculations.
Perform other duties requested by the management team.
