About the Role

The St. Regis Abu Dhabi is seeking a detail-oriented Storekeeper to support its purchasing and inventory operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving goods, maintaining stock levels, issuing materials to various departments, and ensuring inventory records remain accurate.

The position plays an important role in supporting daily hotel operations by maintaining organized storerooms, monitoring stock movement, and ensuring compliance with Marriott's purchasing procedures and inventory standards.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods.

Maintain inventory according to company policies and BSS procedures.

Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment.

Issue materials based on approved requisitions.

Verify invoices against purchase orders.

Check quantities and pricing for accuracy.

Maintain inventory records and bin cards.

Rotate stock using proper inventory procedures.

Assist with monthly stock counts.

Conduct weekly inventory spot checks.

Report discrepancies and damaged goods.

Notify management of obsolete or slow-moving stock.

Maintain clean, organized, and efficient storerooms.

Maximize available storage space.

Support purchasing and stores colleagues when required.

Required Qualifications

Applicants should have:

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Storekeeper or in inventory management.

Previous experience in a luxury hotel is preferred.

Good understanding of stock control and purchasing procedures.

Experience handling inventory documentation.

Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
