Role Summary
The Package Handler is responsible for supporting daily hub and ramp operations, including sorting shipments, scanning packages, loading and unloading cargo, and assisting with logistics processes. The job ensures parcels move safely and efficiently through the FedEx network.
This is an operational role based at a station or hub facility, often involving night shift activities and physical handling of shipments.
Key Responsibilities
Cargo & Handling Operations
Scan, sort, and track packages
Load and unload vehicles and ULD containers
Perform safe on-loading and off-loading procedures
Handle aircraft cargo and ground operations
Logistics Support
Support hub and station operations
Maintain location tracking and reporting
Assist with general logistics and administrative tasks
Perform security screening when required
Safety & Compliance
